Maintain of Cobalt Humidity Indicator Card
Storage & Shelf Life
Store cards in their original, tightly sealed containers alongside a fresh desiccant packet to prevent premature color changes. Most cards feature a shelf life of about 3 years.

Minimizing Exposure
Limit the time the container is open. Reseal the container immediately after use and replace the desiccant bag after every three openings.

Reactivation
The color-change spots are reversible. If the card has turned pink (indicating moisture) or yellow (depending on the cobalt-free variant), place it in a sealed, dry container with sufficient desiccant for 24–48 hours to revert the spots to their dry state (blue or brown).

Accelerated Reactivation
You can bake standard cobalt-containing cards at approximately (82 circ text 180 circ text) for 3 hours. Always remove the desiccant pack and canister lid prior to baking.

When to Discard
Replace and discard cards if the indicator spots are already faded, if they are stained white or black (indicating contact with water/steam or extreme temperatures), or if the indicating colors overrun the black circle boundaries.

Packaging & Shipping
- Please store in a dry and cool environment, avoid direct sunlight and water.
- Inner packing: Sealed vacuum bag+ tinplate can, outer packing: Cartons and pallets.
- When open the packaging more than three times, please replace the desiccant.
- Put one desiccant bag along with the HIC card inside the vacuum bag and get sealed.
